The Contemporary Music & Worship Leader provides musical and spiritual leadership for the contemporary worship service. In collaboration with the Pastor, staff, and Worship Team, this position plans and leads Christ-centered, theologically grounded worship that is engaging, accessible, and rooted in the Reformed tradition.
This role cultivates a vibrant praise band ministry, encourages congregational participation, and integrates music thoughtfully with Scripture and the weekly message.
QUALIFICATION
Bachelor’s degree in music or related field preferred (experience may be considered in lieu of degree)
Demonstrated Christian faith.
Experience leading contemporary worship and vocal/instrumental ensembles.
Proficiency in vocal leadership; instrumental proficiency (guitar or keyboard preferred)
Working knowledge of worship technology platforms (Planning Center, ProPresenter, livestream systems, sound equipment)
Ability to pass background screening

Port Orange Presbyterian Church is seeking a skilled Piano Accompanist to support our Worship and Music ministry.
About the Role
In cooperation with the pastor and the Worship and Music Team, the Accompanist will provide piano accompaniment for our Wednesday evening choir rehearsals, helping bring a range of uplifting, spirit-filled music to life — from traditional to contemporary.Responsibilities
Provide piano accompaniment during weekly choir rehearsal
Work collaboratively with the choir director and Worship and Music Team
Prepare and rehearse a variety of sacred choral music, including more complex pieces
Qualifications
Proficient piano skills, with the ability to sight-read music confidently
Musical training sufficient to accompany complex choir arrangements (a music degree is not required)
Personal integrity, self-motivation, and a commitment to serving the church
Strong communication and collaborative skills
Schedule: Wednesdays, 6:00–7:00 PM
